Claymation

In my opinion claymation video projects work best when done in collabration with a classroom teacher. In the classroom the students can write the story as part of their classroom writing. Because we know that a truly great movie begins with the writers. In this project I worked with Mrs. Smiths first grade class. Most of the project involved the writing and re-writing of the story. Here is Mrs. Smiths lesson plan for the project.

 

 

 

The program that I used to create this video was a program by Tech4Learning called Video Blender. That is an earler version of a program now called Frames. Both of these are "stop motion animation" programs.
